115′ Athena

2006

Sporty with a retro appeal, this was the forebear of Riva’s famous megayachts. A large fly and generous windows characterise a design focused on creating powerful contact with the sea

Riva lavished all of its signature attention to detail on its flagship. The 115’ Athena remains the largest yacht still afloat designed by Officina Italiana Design.

The 35.5-metre project was originally developed to meet the needs of a major Middle Eastern client and collector of Riva boats. Now, however, it is part of the Riva fibreglass range.

Its lines are coolly sporty with an allure that is very slightly retro.

The exterior design is dominated by a large fly with an aft hard top clothed in soft, rounded lines. Large swathes of glazing are another feature.
The interiors are, of course, custom in line with both Riva and Officina Italiana Design philosophy.
