AQUARIVA SPECIAL

2025

Riva’s emblem of contemporary style, the aquariva pens a new, special chapter, where harmonious lines and proportions intertwine with the brand’s hallmark stylistic features, striking a perfect balance between heritage and contemporary design.

Delicate stylistic touches define the new aesthetic of the Aquariva Special. Aquariva, created in 2001 with the objective of perpetuating the legend that is Aquarama, offers soft, harmonious lines. Her design is timeless and classic, with a formal balance that has made for a success story spanning 24 years of production. The changes made have been subtle, so as not to distort an already unmistakable identity. The Aquariva Special is, and remains, an Aquariva. Just with a more contemporary look.

The windscreen design is more modern, as are the cushions and new colour palette added to the range, featuring a novel play on light and dark effects.

One of the most outstanding features to be redeveloped is the windscreen, an element that has been entirely redesigned in order to create a more aerodynamic profile. The stern swim platform has also been reimagined into a more ergonomic form and larger size, with a new curvature applied to the steps aimed at providing greater comfort to guests and simplifying access to the sea and reboarding. The handrail and mooring cleat are a tribute to the yacht’s predecessor, the Aquariva Super, while the gunwale, previously in mahogany, is now in fibreglass, finished in the hull colour chosen by the owner, as is the case for the large sundeck and air-intake grilles.

At the bow, the new design of navigation lights and light covers is what truly stands out, a trait the Aquariva Special shares with the Riva Anniversario (a limited edition created in 2022 to celebrate the brand’s 180th anniversary).

The cockpit is designed to act as an elegant lounge on the water: a large U-shaped sofa in Sky fabric, matching the hull’s finish, creates a welcoming area that can be transformed to suit the time of day. The bridge, in line with tradition, is available in its analogue version, but can also be configured into a digital version. The new Aquariva Special was previewed at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, in a Petrol Blue livery.
