Riva 82’ Diva - Officina Italiana Design

With an LOA of 25.29 metres and a beam of 6.08 metres, the Diva takes all of the signatures of its illustrious predecessors – a low, sporty superstructure profile, characteristic forward windshield shape, polished steel detailing – and effortlessly combines them with a slew of innovative solutions.

The exterior areas are the undisputed stars of the design. Generous and meticulously detailed, they are crafted to deliver absolute guest comfort and exclusive contact with the sea. They could, in fact, be described as being oversized and are all connected to the interior in line with current trends.

The large 40 sqm flybridge is one of the most generous on a yacht of this size, in fact. The cockpit too is roomy with almost 35 sqm of living areas with various relaxation areas and a large, innovative beach club. The latter has two 1.6 metre fold-down bulwarks that transform into two side terraces: a first for a Riva that increases the beam of the area by over three metres.

Despite the fact that the Diva is a walkaround clothed in beautiful tapering lines, her interior volumes are equally generous, thanks to the fact that the layout has been cleverly designed to take advantage of every inch of available space.
The lounge and dining areas in the saloon are separated visually by a clever split-level arrangement: The living area, which opens onto the deck, is aft, while the panoramic raised dining area is forward. The latter is also adjacent to the galley which lies to port forward on the main deck and can be closed off using sliding glazing.

The Diva’s interiors reflect Riva’s signature style which itself centres around polished furnishings, chiaro-scuro contrasts, and the use of steel. The main woods (owners have a choice of Italian walnut or polished chocolate wenge) set the tone of the styling in the interior and are paired with pale carpeting and fabric-trimmed ceilings in pristine white to contrast with the black lacquered furnishings and black leather trim.
